Refunds and Cancellations Policy

Thank you for purchasing a course, membership, or digital product from A Worship of Writers (‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’).
We want you to feel confident in your purchase and understand your rights regarding cancellations, refunds, and access to digital content.

1. Your Right to Cancel (EU Consumer Law)

Under EU law, you have the right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days of payment without giving a reason — unless you choose to access the content immediately.

By accessing or downloading any digital product, course materials, or membership content before the 14-day period ends, you acknowledge that your right to cancel is waived.

If you do not access the content within those 14 days and wish to cancel, you may request a full refund by emailing info@aworshipofwriters.co.uk.

2. Courses and Programmes

Each course or programme lists its access duration and start date clearly on the checkout page.

  • Self-paced courses: You may cancel within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet accessed the materials.

  • Live or scheduled courses: You may cancel up to 7 days before the course begins for a full refund. After that, cancellations are at our discretion.

  • Instant-access courses: Refunds are not available once materials have been accessed or downloaded.

If a course is cancelled or rescheduled by us, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to a future session.

3. Memberships and Subscriptions

Memberships (such as community access or writing programmes) are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on your plan.

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by emailing info@aworshipofwriters.co.uk.

Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and no further payments will be taken.
We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle.

4. Digital Products and Downloads

Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are not available once the product has been downloaded or accessed, except where required by law or if the product is faulty or misdescribed.

If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, please contact info@aworshipofwriters.co.uk, and we will resolve it promptly.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email info@aworshipofwriters.co.uk with the following information:

  • Your full name

  • The email address used for your purchase

  • Order number (if available)

  • The product, course, or membership name

  • Reason for cancellation or refund request

We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 10 business days.

6. Exceptions

Refunds and cancellations are not available in the following cases:

  • You accessed or downloaded the digital product or course materials

  • You attended live course sessions

  • You cancelled after a membership renewal date

  • The request falls outside the legal cooling-off period and no error occurred on our part
